JOHANNESBURG - Rise Mzansi is set to share its vision and priorities for the country with the electorate on Saturday, as it launches its manifesto ahead of the seventh democratic elections.

Its national leader, Songezo Zibi is expected to deliver what his organisation has termed the "People’s Manifesto" at the Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria.

Rise Mzansi, which was launched in 2023 is the first of many to set out its programme and the policies it would adopt should it garner enough support to get into government.

More than 500 political parties have been registered with the Electoral Commission to contest the fast-approaching polls.

"The People’s Manifesto is the culmination of listening, consultation, community meetings, policy gatherings, and the people’s convention," said Rise Mzansi's Mabine Seabe.

"More than 4,000 Rise Mzansi supporters, volunteers, organisers, and leaders will adopt the people’s manifesto, which is a commitment to build the South Africa we all deserve a safe, prosperous, equal, and united South Africa," Seabe added.
