JOHANNESBURG - A number of South African dogs were allegedly stolen and taken to the Namibian/Angolan border.
It is understood 50 dogs have been found, but police are yet to confirm this.
The syndicate reportedly operates in Angola and trades mainly in huskies, ridgebacks, Rottweilers and Boerboels.
Interpol's Dennis Adriao said, “Some of the dogs have been reported as stolen from South Africa and smuggled into those countries. We are also in the process of trying to get those dogs.
