Alicia Pillay | 21 August 2012 CAPE TOWN - Chippa United owner Sivewe Mpengesi says he is expecting an improved performance from his team on Tuesday evening. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) newcomers lost 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in their opening game. The Philippi side will face another difficult task against Steve Komphela's Free State Stars at Athlone Stadium. Mpengesi said Chippa can only get better from their first game. “People were expecting Sundowns to beat us with a big margin, but that didn’t happen. Tonight we are expecting an improved performance compared to last week." Mpengesi says it is important for his team to remember the league is a marathon. “This is a marathon, there’s no rush. We have to build the team and soon they’ll get [things] together.” Kickoff is at 7:30pm. (Edited by Lindiwe Mlandu)
