Boks to match Pumas' determination
Springbok Captain Jean de Villiers says his side will match anything that Argentina throws at them.
CAPE TOWN - Springbok Captain Jean de Villiers on Friday said his team will match Argentina's motivation.
Los Pumas will make their debut in the Castle Champions Rugby Tournament at Newlands on Saturday afternoon.
De Villiers said the Boks have a lot of history to play for.
“Argentina is new to this competition but we won’t underestimate them. We have a long history in this competition and we’d like to keep that going.”
De Villiers said there is no complacency in the camp.
“We know what we need to do and we’ll stick to our games plan.”
Keegan Daniels will get his first start for the national side while Lwazi Mvovo will replace the injured JP Pietersen.
The two sides will play for the 14th time. The Springboks have always been victorious in their previous encounters.
Kickoff is 5:05pm
