CAPE TOWN - Stormers coach Allister Coetzee on Friday said there would be a massive showdown between his side and the Sharks in Saturday’s semi-final clash.

The last time the Sharks came to Newlands, Stormers loose-head Steven Kitshoff out-scrummed Springbok’s Jannie du Plessis a number of times.

Coetzee said it will be an interesting battle this time.

“I’m sure they’ll try and take control from the word go.”

Coetzee said they are ready to face the Springbok-laden forward pack of the Sharks.

“We are prepared for anything.”

Meanwhile, former Stormers wing Breyton Paulse said it was important not to underestimate home-ground advantage.

“Home-ground is important and the Newlands faithful have to get behind the boys tomorrow.”

Kickoff is 5:05pm.
