CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are still investigating the motive behind a double murder in Cape Town’s central business district (CBD).

Julian Williams and former business partner Herman Pretorius died after a mysterious shooting on Thursday.

It is understood the two men had been in a business meeting.

Williams died on the scene, while 40-year-old Pretorius was confirmed dead on his arrival to hospital.

They had previously disagreed about the payment of dividends for the unlisted company SA SuperAlloys.

But the police’s November Filander said authorities are still investigating the case.

“According to our preliminary investigation, these two victims were alone in the boardroom. The investigation continues.”
