JOHANNESBURG - Soweto police on Friday said they are investigating two separate cases of rape.
One incident involves a 13-year-old girl from a school for deaf children.
Police spokesperson Kay Makhubela said the rape took place at the Dobsonville school on Thursday.
The victim was discovered by a member of staff.
“The 13-year-old girl was raped by three boys," Makhubela said.
The second case involves a 20-year-old woman who was abducted and repeatedly raped in Zondi.
Makhubela said both victims were taken to hospital and were receiving care.
Earlier in 2012, a 17-year-old Soweto girl was gang-raped and her attack was captured on video.
