CAPE TOWN – Western Cape ANC councillor Tony Ehrenreich on Sunday said people waiting for houses needed to work with government if they wanted it sooner.

Ehrenreich said that government had a duty to fulfil its housing development promises.

He was one of the government officials who attended the public meeting with Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille, Premier Helen Zille and Sir Lowry’s Pass village residents.

Residents protested against poor service delivery last week.
