Afternoon Traffic

On the N1 outgoing after Plattekloof there’s a broken down bus in the centre lane. Expect delays.

The diesel spill on Plattekloof Road between the N7 and Tanzanite in the left lane has been cleared.            

TRAFFIC LIGHTS FAULTY/DEFECTIVE:

-In Table View at Plattekloof and Koeberg

-In Mitchell’s Plain at Morgenster and Eisleben

-In Blikkiesdorp at Symphony and Saartjie Baartman

-In Philippi at Govan Mbeki (Lansdowne) and Stock Roads

WEEKEND ROADWORKS:

-    Final surfacing of Boy de Goede Road intersection with Blaauwberg Road will take place from 18h00 tonight until 05:00am on Monday morning.

-   This will require intermittent lane closures and no right turning at the intersection. Alternative routes will be clearly marked during each phase of closure.

- Portions of a lane on Ratanga Road, Century City, are closed for the next six weeks (until the end of June) due to roadworks. Where possible motorists should make use of alternate routes and avoid Ratanga Road.

-The southbound carriageway on Ratanga Road between Shayele and Sable Square entrance will be closed.

-Motorist will be deviated to the northbound carriageway which will accommodate two-way traffic.

-Shoppers approaching Sable Square from Ratanga Road will be directed along Daniel Road East.
