IN THE TRAFFIC

- In Midrand, there are road works on Allandale road in both directions between Harry Galaun Street and Old Pretoria Main Road.
- In Fourways, there are road works on William Nicol in both directions between Fourways boulevard and Knoppieslaagte Road
- In Braamfontein, there is an obstruction on the M1 South from Smit Street to the M2
- In Auckland Park, there are road works on Empire Road between Stanley and Joubert Streets
- In Roodepoort, there are road works on the N1 North before the Maraisburg interchange, affecting 1 of 4 lanes until 3:30pm today

TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE OUT

- In Roodepoort, on Ontdekkers at Corlett Avenue
- In Emmarentia, on Main Road at Judith
- In Sunninghill, on Rivonia Road at Leeuwkop

There are long-term road works on the N1 South at Lynwood with 3 of 5 lanes affected.

Afternoon Traffic

The accident on the pass on Ou Kaapse Weg (Steenberg side) has been cleared.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS FAULTY/DEFECTIVE:

-In Delft at Hindle Road and Symphony Road.

-In Blikkiesdorp at Symphony Road and Saartjie Baartman.

-In Philippi at Govan Mbeki (Lansdowne) and Symphony Roads.

WEEKEND ROADWORKS:

Due to roadworks at the intersection of Buitengragt and Walter Sisulu Avenue (Coen Steytler):

- 7pm tonight - 5am on Monday morning, certain lanes will be closed.

If you’re coming into town on the Elevated Freeway, expect delays OR use alternative routes.

2. Lane closures on Table Bay Boulevard incoming due to line painting and minor roadworks.

- 7pm tonight - 6am Monday morning.

All lanes will be open during peak traffic times.
