JOHANNESBURG - Emirates Lions captain Warren Whiteley will make his return to rugby for the Lions XV in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge game against the Bulls on Sunday.

Whiteley has missed almost three months of rugby due to a knee injury.

The inspirational captain missed the back end of the Lions first half of the Super Rugby season and has also missed the Springboks three Test match series against England in which Siya Kolisi has taken over the reigns as captain.

The Lions XV also sees the return of Springbok winger Courtnall Skosan in a strong line up that boasts a plethora of Super Rugby players.

The Lions and Bulls game will be the main fixture of three on the day.
