CSA, Cricket Australia to probe Warner, De Kock incident

Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia will investigate an altercation between Australian opening batsman David Warner and Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock during the tea break on Day 4 of the first Test in Durban.

JOHANNESBURG - Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia will investigate an altercation between Australian opening batsman David Warner and Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock during the tea break on Day 4 of the first Test in Durban.

CCTV footage from the players' tunnel revealed Warner and De Kock involved in a heated exchange of words during the tea interval. Both boards confirmed that the incident did take place and will investigate the matter.

The Proteas will resume day 5 on 293/9 and still needing an unlikely 124 runs for victory in the first of four Test matches. De Kock will resume on 81 with Morne Morkel on still to get off the mark.
