JOHANNESBURG - The late Robbie Malinga's music career not only spans a long list of hit singles and duets he sang but also an even longer list of songs composed, written and produced for other local stars.

The legendary award-winning musician passed away at his northern Johannesburg home on Christmas Day, following a long period of illness.

Tributes have since poured in from fans, colleagues in the music industry and government.

Here's a mix of just some of the songs that Malinga will be most remembered for:

Mthande - Musa featuring Robbie Malinga

Sobabili - Robbie Malinga featuring Kelly Khumalo

Loliwe - Zahara (from the album of the same name, produced by Robbie Malinga)

Sokwenzenjani - Naima Kay featuring Robbie Malinga

Hold On - Robbie Malinga featuring Fiso

Inhliziyo Yami- Robbie Malinga

In 2014, Robbie Malinga led a team of choristers from KwaZulu-Natal to victory during the second season of the Mzansi Magic music reality contest, Clash of the Choirs.

Each week, teams were tasked with putting a unique twist on local and international songs by other artists, including the choir masters themselves.
