Radebe: ANC hasn’t moved fast enough on land reform issue
Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe says the land issue is an historic one which needs to be resolved urgently.
JOHANNESBURG - Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe says the land reform program of the African National Congress (ANC) has not moved fast enough and is a matter which needs to be resolved at the ANC conference on Wednesday.
Radebe is addressing a business breakfast at the conference which is expected to conclude today.
He says the land issue is an historic one which needs to be resolved urgently.
“There are proposals on how we can be able to accelerate land reform programme because without addressing that historic injustice will never have peace in our country. So I do hope that as we rise, we’re going to be clarifying ourselves on this issue.”
