[LISTEN] ANC stalwarts react to new top six leadership

| On Tuesday supporters of Senzo Mchunu disputed the vote count that saw him lose out to Ace Magashule, a sign that Ramaphosa’s team was trying to gain greater control of the upper echelons of the ANC.

JOHANNESBURG - Karima Brown speaks to Dr Lawrence Dube about the new African National Congress leadership and the issue about the unaccounted votes that went missing, an issue that Senzo Mchunu supporters want investigated.

On Tuesday supporters of Mchunu, Cyril Ramaphosa’s pick for secretary-general, disputed the vote count that saw him lose out to Magashule, a sign that Ramaphosa’s team was trying to gain greater control of the upper echelons of the ANC.

Dube says he had a word with Mchunu about the matter but he says he has never indicated that he wants to fight the matter through the courts.

Brown also chats to ANC stalwarts Sydney Mufamadi and Reverend Frank Chikane about the new ANC leadership.
