[LISTEN] Will new Energy Minister push nuclear deal through?

| New Energy Minister David Mahlobo insists that South Africa needs nuclear energy as a source of power, adding that nuclear power is already in the country.

JOHANNESBURG – New Energy Minister David Mahlobo says that his mandate is to help the country to ensure that energy is a big input to stimulate growth.

“We have to ensure that energy is sustainable because if this economy is going to perform at a high level, then it must be sustainable. We don’t want to degrade the environment.”
