[LISTEN] Vodacom explains why data, airtime disappeared

JOHANNESBURG - As if dealing with high data costs isn’t painful enough, Vodacom customers now have to contend with disappearing data.

Thousands of angry users saw data bundles and airtime disappear before their eyes overnight.

Vodacom spokesperson Byron Kennedy says the problem was caused by a configuration change on their billing system.
