Zuma signs Financial Sector Regulations Act into law

The act also provides for co-operation between the National Credit Regulator, the Financial Intelligence Centre and the Reserve Bank.

CAPE TOWN - President Jacob Zuma has signed the Financial Sector Regulation Act into law.

In a short statement, the Presidency says the act aims to achieve a financial system that works in the interests of customers and supports sustainable growth.

The act also provides for cooperation between the National Credit Regulator, the Financial Intelligence Centre and the Reserve Bank.
