UWC students meet with delegates to boost entrepreneurship
Delegates and students will have the opportunity to interact with business leaders on Thursday.
CAPE TOWN - Efforts to boost the country's economy are being discussed at the University of the Western Cape (UWC).
The institution is conducting a two-day seminar geared towards encouraging entrepreneurship.
Delegates and students will have the opportunity to interact with business leaders on Thursday.
Charlene Duncan, UWC's director of the centre for entrepreneurship and innovation, says the initiative will empower students.
“It gives students the opportunity to become the job creators and for youth to start thinking about entrepreneurship as a career, no matter where they’re from.”
