JOHANNESBURG - Police have refuted Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina's claims that the suspects linked to the murder of Rhythm City actor Dumi Masilela have been arrested.

Authorities say no arrests have been made and they're still following all leads.

Masilela died about a week ago in hospital, after he was shot in a botched hijacking in Tembisa.

The actor was laid to rest at the Zuurfontein cemetery on Saturday afternoon.

The police's Kay Makhubele says: “The suspects are still at large and we continue for to ask anyone with information to come forward. Sooner or later the suspects will be arrested.”
