CAPE TOWN – Police are still investigating the murders of three men in Nyanga.

The men were shot and killed on Wednesday evening near the Nyanga police station.

The Nyanga Community Policing Forum’s Martin Makasi says the exact motive is unclear.

"At this stage, we suspect that it is a revenge attack but the police are still trying to find more information which is informed by a particular incident which took place in Gugulethu."

The police's Frederick van Wyk says: "We’ve opened a triple murder case. Further investigation and motive for this shooting incident are yet to be determined. No arrests have been made as yet."
