CAPE TOWN - The sister of murdered Valhalla Park teenager Lekita Moore says she last saw her sibling alive when she left a karaoke party with the man accused of her murder.

Cameron Wilson was arrested after the 18-year-old's mutilated body was found on an open field in September.

The 19-year-old was out on bail in connection with another murder at the time.

Mercia Moore says the accused saw her sister on a daily basis, after he came to live with his grandmother in Valhalla Park following his release on bail.

Moore says Wilson was 'fond' of her sister as they were always together.

The 20-year-old says the accused was outside their house on the 10 September, when he allegedly threatened her sister with a sjambok.

She says after Wilson left they got ready to go to a tavern.

There, the accused is believed to have fetched the deceased before taking her home.

Later that evening the sisters went to a karaoke party in Valhalla Park.

Moore says the last time she saw her sister was when she left with Wilson and his friends.
