Duke & Duchess of Cambridge to visit Paris
It will be the Prince William’s first official visit to the French capital since his mother Princess Diana’s death in 1997.
CAPE TOWN - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are due to travel to Paris on an official two-day visit.
It will be the Duke’s first official visit to the French capital since his mother Princess Diana’s death in 1997.
He was 15 years old and his brother, Prince Harry, was 12 when she was killed in a car crash in the city.
The itinerary for the Paris visit includes a meeting with French President Francois Hollande and the Six Nations rugby match between Wales and France.
Prince William and Princess Kate will also meet survivors of the Nice attack, in which 86 people died after a lorry ploughed into a crowd in July last year, and the Bataclan attack - which saw 90 people killed by gunmen at the music venue of that name in Paris in November 2015.
