Police search for missing infant after KZN hijacking
A stolen car has been retrieved with no sign of the infant taken when a woman breastfeeding the child was ambushed by hijackers.
JOHANNESBURG – Police are searching for an infant who was taken hostage during a hijacking in Durban.
The mother was breastfeeding her baby in the CBD earlier on Friday when she was ambushed by the hijackers.
They then sped off in her car with her baby still in it.

It’s understood the vehicle has been found, but there's still no sign of the baby.
The police's Thulani Zwane says, “The baby is not yet found. We are appealing to anyone who might have information on the whereabouts of the baby to please contact the local police station so that the baby can be reunited with its parents.”
