Forensic analyst testifies in multiple murders trial of Cameron Wilson
The 19-year-old was arrested in connection with the rape and murder of 18-year-old Lekita Moore in September.
WESTERN CAPE HIGH COURT - A forensic analyst has testified in the trial against a teenager accused of multiple murders.
The 19-year-old was out on bail in connection with another murder at the time.
Warrant officer Blanche Stubs is attached to the Biology and Forensic Science Unit in Plattekloof.
She has testified about receiving a sealed bag that contained DNA swabs, and the underwear of Dawney Davids, who was allegedly raped by the accused in April 2015.
Stubs says semen was detected on the exhibit during testing.
She told the court the accused’s DNA matched the sample found on the victim's underwear.
Twenty-year-old Davids has testified Wilson sexually assaulted her, before he stabbed her in the neck with a sharp object.
