CAPE TOWN - A Karoo-based political alliance believes siding with the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Beaufort West marks the end of what it calls corruption and instability in the municipality.

They have formed partnerships to govern the Prince Albert, Laingsburg and Beaufort West municipalities.

It has also received unqualified audits with findings.
The KDF's Goliath Lottering says this is now a thing of the past.
DA provincial leader Patricia de Lille expressed joy that her hometown of Beaufort West is now in the hands of her party.
"My poor birth place was in a mess, it was filthy and with potholes. I am overjoyed, I am very happy."
