Student activist goes missing under 'worrying circumstances'
Vusi Mahlangu sent a message from his phone yesterday saying he’d either been kidnapped or arrested.
JOHANNESBURG - The Outsourcing Must Fall movement says it's extremely anxious following the disappearance of the campaign organiser Vusi Mahlangu under worrying circumstances.
Mahlangu was last heard from yesterday morning, en route to a meeting with workers at the Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha.
It's understood he was approached by a group of armed men and managed to hide his cellphone while being assaulted.
He sent a message from his phone yesterday saying that he was bleeding and has either been kidnapped or arrested.

Outsourcing Must Fall's national spokesman Mametlwe Sebei says, "The disappearance of Vusi particularly against the background of the worrying messaging he has been sending has really concerned us. We are demanding that police must fully investigate to determine his whereabouts and to assist in an event that something has happened to him."
