Boy kills friend with steel rod in Malvern
It’s understood the pair got into an argument at the weekend. Police are investigating.
JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng police are investigating the murder of a 14-year-old boy, allegedly by his 11-year-old friend in Malvern.
It’s understood the pair got into an argument at the weekend and the younger boy hit his victim with a steel rod on the head.
The teenager was certified dead at a local fire station.
The police's Richard Monyai says, “The boy was arrested, but released into the care of his parents. He will appear in court today.”
