Three houses petrol bombed in Ennerdale
Community members believe those behind the drug trade in the suburb are responsible for the attacks.
JOHANNESBURG - Police are investigating the overnight petrol bombing of three houses in Ennerdale in the south of Johannesburg.
Yesterday, frustrated residents held a march against drugs in the community, demonstrating outside the homes of suspected drug dealers.
Now community members believe those behind the drug trade in the suburb are responsible for petrol bombing the homes of people involved in the march.
But the police's Mack Mngomezulu says investigations are still underway to identify the perpetrators.
"The houses were attacked in the early hours of this morning and currently it is unknown who attacked those houses. There were no injuries and no arrested have been made."
