Six killed in Limpopo car crash

Three children, between the ages of four and 10, were killed in the collision.

JOHANNESBURG – Six people have been killed and two others injured in a car crash on the R36 near Mooketsi in Limpopo. 

Last night the SUV the family was traveling in overturned before crashing into a tree. 

Three children, between the ages of four and 10, were killed in the collision.

Paramedics say five passengers were declared dead on the scene while the sixth died at a local hospital. 

ER24’s spokesperson Russel Meiring says, “Three other adults were found on the scene, one of them a critically injured woman. All the passengers were transported to hospital for further treatment. The cause of this collision is not yet known.”
