Namakoe Nkhasi beat Elroy Gelant while Irvette van Zyl powered to a convincing win.
CAPE TOWN – South African Namakoe Nkhasi beat Elroy Gelant in an exciting sprint finish to win the Two Oceans half marathon in a time of 1 hour 3 minutes and 38 seconds.
The women’s section was a different story as Irvette van Zyl powered to a convincing win in a time of 1 hour 13 minutes and 8 seconds, to easily make the Olympic qualifying time.
