Chris Hani's widow will 'never forgive the man' who took her husband's life
Chris Hani's wife has joined the ANC in a march against his killer Janusz Walus’s parole.
JOHANNESBURG - Chris Hani's wife Limpho says she will never forgive the man who took her husband's life and has no intention of meeting with him.
Limpho has this morning joined African National Congress (ANC) members from Ekurhuleni in Braamfontein, who are planning to hand over a memorandum to the Constitutional Court, calling for a review of the decision to release Janusz Walus on parole.
Last week, the High Court in Pretoria ruled that the 60-year-old be released by the end of March after serving 23-years in jail.
Limpho says she has tried in the past to get the truth about who ordered Walus to kill her husband, but she was insensitively told otherwise.
"I was told to go to hell."
She says Walus will never tell the truth and she has no intention of meeting with him for his parole, and she is not sorry about that.
While the ANC says Walus should be deported upon his release, Limpho says he should stay in South Africa under police guard because he doesn't deserve freedom in his home country of Poland.
A group demonstrators, including some traditional leaders have joined Hani's widow where the memorandum will be handed over.
