Major Petros Moraba falsified land transfer documents for a municipal property.
CAPE TOWN - A former station commander in the Eastern Cape will spend a year behind bars after being convicted of fraud.
Major Petros Moraba, who was the head of the Mount Fletcher Police Station, was sentenced in the Regional Court yesterday.

The Hawks' Anelisa Feni said, "One dealt with transferring part of the land from Elundini Municipality to Colonel Moraba while another transferred the portion of the land from the municipality to Mr [Bilal] Khan. both documents contained a fraudulent signature from the municipal manager."
