Vavi pleads ‘not guilty’ in speeding case
Zwelinzima Vavi was arrested for allegedly driving at 207km per hour on the R24 highway in October.
JOHANNESBURG - Former Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) Secretary General Zwelinzima Vavi has pleaded not guilty to speeding.
He appeared in the Edenvale Magistrates Court on a charge of speeding.
Vavi was arrested for allegedly driving at 207 kilometres per hour on the R24 highway in October.
He was later granted bail of R1,000.
Vavi's case will resume on 15 April.
