CAPE TOWN – Cape Town Cycle Tour operations director Renee Jordaan has urged people to make travel arrangements as parking will be at a premium in the city centre.

The world's largest time cycling event is back to its full distance of 109 Kilometres in its 38th year.

The race will take place on Sunday and 35,000 cyclists are expected at the starting line.

Jordaan admits there are challenges with regard to parking in the city.

“The big change was to move to the Cape Town Stadium and because it’s a new venue we have challenges like any other event. There isn’t much parking at the Cape Town Stadium.”
