Police search for parents of abandoned Mfuleni baby

CAPE TOWN – Mfuleni police have appealed for information that could assist detectives in tracing the parents of an abandoned baby.

The infant boy was found dumped in the veld near a housing project in Mfuleni on Saturday.

The police’s Frederick van Wyk said, “The baby might be a few days old. We urge the community to get involved and anyone with any information that can lead us to locate the whereabouts of the mother is kindly requested to contact Captain Nomathemba Mohaba at Mfuleni police.”
