15 injured after taxi rolls on M1 in JHB
The taxi was found on its roof with passengers lying across the highway at the Grayston off-ramp.
JOHANNESBURG - Fifteen people have been injured in an accident involving a taxi on the M1 south at the Grayston off-ramp.
Paramedics say the taxi was found on its roof, with the passengers lying across the highway, after it rolled just over an hour ago.
Two passengers have sustained serious injuries and had to be given life support before they could be taken to hospital.
Emer-G-Med's Max Cohen says, "On arrival, the paramedics found injured passengers lying across the highway, and the taxi on it's roof after having rolled allegedly after the driver lost control. A total of 15 passengers were injured, with 13 sustaining minor to moderate injuries."
