SA cities top 'quality of living' ranking
Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg made it in the top 100 on Mercer’s quality of living ranking.
JOHANNESBURG - Durban‚ Cape Town‚ and Johannesburg have been listed on Mercer's 2016 quality of Living Survey, ranking 85th‚ 92nd‚ and 95th respectively.
The liveability list, compiled by consulting firm Mercer, includes 230 cities and is used to determine compensation and hardship allowances for international staff.
This is not the only global ranking that both Johannesburg and Cape Town have received since the start of the year.
Camps Bay was recently named the 17th most amazing beach on the globe by the reviewers' platform TripAdvisor, in their Top 25 Beaches in the World survey and Johannesburg was voted the 'coolest city in the southern hemisphere' by GQ magazine in London.
