CAPE TOWN - The Mossel Bay Municipality is investigating the conduct of an African National Congress councillor who's been charged with drunk driving.
The councillor was arrested last week.
He's said to have also been disruptive during a council committee meeting hours before he was detained.
Mossel Bay Town Council speaker Kallie Smit said he's gathering the facts at the moment.
"We understand that he interfered with the mayor when she was calling him to order in a committee meeting."
