State enters plea bargain with man who admitted to raping daughter's friends
The 51-year-old father allegedly drugged and raped the young girls during sleepovers in their family home.
CAPE TOWN - The state has agreed to a plea bargain in exchange for a life sentence after a 51-year-old man pleaded guilty to 67 charges relating to child pornography.
The George father faced over 3,000 charges after he was arrested in December 2014.
He has now pleaded guilty to 67, including the rape of his daughter's friends during sleepovers at his Thembalethu home between 2012 and 2014.
The George father pleaded guilty to raping seven of his young daughter's friends, including the manufacturing of child pornography.
His youngest victim was 10 years old.
Sentencing has been postponed to next month.
