Police radios found during raid in Blackheath

The owner of a towing business has been arrested for being in possession of police radios.

CAPE TOWN - The owner of a towing business has been arrested for being in possession of police radios.

Members of the Metro Police Tactical Response Unit swooped on a premises in Blackheath last night, where they confiscated several radios.

Metro Police Chief Wayne le Roux said, "Our Metro Police Tactical Response Unit received information of some goods being stored at a well-known place in the Blackheath area. We immediately followed up and managed to search and enter the premises. We were quite astound and confiscated various types of portable radios."
