CAPE TOWN - The South African flag has now found its home in a prime advertising spot at the top of Cape Town’s iconic Long Street.

The flag replaces the notorious Zuma Must Fall billboard that was torn down at the weekend.

It’s still unclear who paid for hoisting the flag.

The newly added feature has attracted a small crowd of curious onlookers at the top of Long Street.

Following the uproar around the Zuma Must Fall billboard, many Capetonians say its replacement is a better idea.

While a criminal proceedings are underway against those responsible for the banner, it’s still unclear who is behind the South African flag.
