South Africans can play $1.4bn US lottery

| Are you feeling lucky? The US lottery ticket is available to South Africans online if they want to enter. Research says you have to be 1 in 292 million to win it.

REUTERS - With Powerball's jackpot now at $1.4 billion and likely to surge higher by Wednesday's drawing, the US multi-state lottery is offering the world's richest grand prize that could go to a single ticketholder, officials said on Sunday.

The pot pushed higher when no ticket holder had the winning combination of six numbers selected during Saturday's drawing, when the grand prize reached nearly $950 million.
