Suspects in court after allegedly killing ANC struggle stalwart

CAPE TOWN - Two men are due to make a court appearance today in connection with the murder of an African National Congress (ANC) struggle stalwart in the Eastern Cape.
Bongiwe Sandile (73) who was an executive member of the MK Military Veterans Association in the Ngcobo area, was gunned down in her home last week.
It's believed three men, one said to be a relative, entered her house and shot Sandile in front of her 14-year-old granddaughter.
The police's Mzukisi Fatyela said, "Two men will appear in the Ngcobo Court today following the murder of the Sandile. One of the two men is a 60-year-old male and he is part of the Sandile family. They were arrested after the killing of the woman. They will appear for a case of murder."
