Ocean View murder accused still seeking legal representation
Enrico Esterhuizen is accused of shooting and killing 3 people in their Mars Street home.
CAPE TOWN – The man accused of killing a family of three in Ocean View will be appearing in court again at the end of this month.
Enrico Esterhuizen is accused of shooting and killing Mari and Chantelle Engelbrecht and Henry Patterson in their Mars Street home.
Esterhuizen appeared in the Simons Town Magistrates Court yesterday on two separate charges, one for the triple murder and the other for attempted murder.
He once again appealed to the magistrate to give him more time to find legal representation as he doesn't wish to make use of Legal Aid services.
During his last court appearance the accused asked for time to raise money for a lawyer.
The magistrate has agreed to postpone the hearing for his murder charge to the end of this month.
Esterhuizen is also expected to appear in court again in February on an attempted murder charge.
