JOHANNESBURG – Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula on Tuesday said he has no surprises left up his sleeve for next month’s South African Sports Awards.

The minister told Eyewitness News Sport he has extended an invitation to both Floyd Mayweather and Usain Bolt, with the latter unavailable to attend.

According to Mbalula, the world champion boxer, ‘Money’, has expressed his desire to come to South Africa and meet his “champion,” Nelson Mandela.

Mbalula says Mayweather’s attendance is not costing anything.

“There are no cost implications involved for us. I’m quite excited that Floyd will be excited to come to South Africa.”

Mbalula says there are no more secret invites going out.
