What a wreck!
Author & editor Melinda Ferguson escaped without serious injuries.
JOHANNESBURG - There's been much talk around water coolers and on social media about an accident involving a R3.2 million super car - a vehicle most of us would only ever dream of driving.
Author Melinda Ferguson, who penned the award-winning book Smacked!, was behind the wheel of the Ferrari California.
The collision took place in Parkmore, near Sandton.
It's not clear what caused the crash, but nobody sustained serious injuries.
An iWitness who passed the scene snapped these pictures, showing the extent of the damage to the vehicle.
Ferrari describes the vehicle as "a car with two souls".
Ferguson is True Love's features and motoring editor, and runs motoring blog girltorque.co.za, was test-driving the California, which is owned by Viglietti Motors.
The question many people will want an answer to is "Can it be saved?"
