Madiba film makes world debut
The film that brings Madiba's story to the world will debut today at the Toronto Film Festival.
TORONTO - The movie based on Nelson Mandela's autobiography finally makes its world debut today at the Toronto Film Festival.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom will screen at the fest and its stars will walk the red carpet of the premiere.
Idris Elba who plays Madiba and Naomie Harris who plays Winnie Madikizela Mandela both celebrated birthdays yesterday but today they'll celebrate the movie that they've spent the past year working on.
The film which has been in the pipeline for 17 years brings Nelson Mandela's story to light on a world stage.
The movie releases in South Africa on 28 November.
