CAPE TOWN - Former Stormers and Springbok captain Corné Krige said the Cape side's recent success at Loftus gives them the edge going into Friday's clash against the Bulls.
Krige said despite the opening two matches of the season going in favour of the home teams, the Stormers were still favourites.
“The Stormers have in the recent years have gone and played well at Loftus, so they are in with a good chance.”
Meanwhile, former Springbok fly-half Naas Botha tipped the Bulls to beat the Stormers.
The legendary number 10 believed home ground advantage would see the Bulls come out tops.
“Only because they’ll be playing at Loftus not at Newlands so I believe the Stormers will beat the Bulls. I think the home advantage will tip this one.”
The game kicks off at 7:10pm.
