Proteas annihilate Black Caps

The Proteas beat New Zealand by an innings and 193 runs in the second test on Monday.

PORT ELIZABETH - The Proteas have beaten New Zealand by an innings and 193 runs in the second test at St. George’s.

The local side earned a 2-nil series win over the Black Caps.

The Proteas declared their first innings on 525/8 then bowled out the Black Caps for 121 to force the follow on.

Earlier, they bowled New Zealand out for 211 in their second innings to seal the emphatic victory.

The two sides will now face off in the first One Day International at Boland on Saturday.
