JOHANNESBURG - Six teenagers accused of murdering three children and raping another in Limpopo appeared in the Mookgopong Magistrates Court on Friday.

The six were arrested on Thursday for the crimes which occurred on 18 August.

The accused, between the ages of 12 and 14, appeared in camera as stipulated in the Child Justice Act because they are minors.

They face three murder charges and rape after they allegedly stoned three children to death in August and raped a little girl.

The bodies of two brothers, Bafana Kekana (9) and Richard Kekana (10), and their cousin, Johanna Kekana (10), were discovered in an open veld in Mookgopong.

The victims were still wearing school uniform, with their hands and feet bound with shoe laces.

The case continues.
